SE CARACTERIZA POR DISPONER DE UNOS MEDIOS CONCENTRADORES (1) DE LA LUZ SOLAR, DIRIGIBLES HACIA UN PRIMER RECEPTOR (3) RECORRIDO POR UN FLUIDO DE TRABAJO. UNA PARTE (11) DE LOS MEDIOS CONCENTRADORES DE LA LUZ ESTA DIRIGIDA OPCIONALMENTE HACIA UN SEGUNDO RECEPTOR (4) QUE CONTIENE UN MEDIO DE ACUMULACION DE CALOR (42). ESTE MEDIO ACUMULADOR ES SOLIDO A TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE, Y LIQUIDO A TEMPERATURA DE FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL SEGUNDO RECEPTOR. LOS RECEPTORES PUEDEN CUBRIRSE EN SU LADO DIRIGIDO HACIA LOS MEDIOS CONCENTRADORES DE LA LUZ CON ELEMENTOS AISLANTES DEL CALOR (35,45), QUE POSEEN FORMA DE ESPEJO EN SU LADO DIRIGIDO HACIA EL RECEPTOR.
