Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of an electric motor vehicle by switching a normal operation command position to an emergency operation command position when the constant current control system in normal operation malfunctions, and controlling directly a phase shifter for a chopper by operating a current flow rate controller. CONSTITUTION:When the constant current control system CC malfunctions while the electric motor vehicle is operated with the control system CC by a normal operation command MMC, a main controller SH is switched to the position of an emergency operation command EMC, thereby operating the current flow rate controller CRC. When the controller CRC is operated, the current flow rates of the choppers CH1, CH2 are continuously controlled by the input voltage to the phase shifters PS1, PS2. Thus, an emergency operation can be conducted even when the normal operation function is failed.
