PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN EXTRACTO ESTABLE Y DESODORIZADO DE SABAL SERRELATUM. CONSISTE EN SOMETER A EXTRACCION POLVO VEGETAL DE GRANULOMETRIA ADECUADA CON UN DISOLVENTE INERTE, TAL COMO UN HIDROCARBURO O UN DERIVADO HALOGENO, EN PRESENCIA DE UN ANTIOXIDANTE Y BAJO UN GAS INERTE. A CONTINUACION SE ELIMINA EL DISOLVENTE DE EXTRACCION, SOMETIENDO EL PRODUCTO OLEOSO A UNA CORRIENTE DE NITROGENO, BAJO VACIO, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 80 Y 120 C. ESTE PRODUCTO TIENE APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE TRASTORNOS PROSTATICOS Y EN COSMETOLOGIA Y DERMATOLOGIA EN PREPARACION ANTISEBORREICAS.
