MEZCLAR DICHO GAS REDUCTOR CON VAPOR, CALENTAR LA MEZCLA RESULTANTE A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 300 Y 600 C, PASAR LA MEZCLA CALIENTE A TRAVES DE LA ZONA DE REFORMACION HACIENDO CONTACTO CON EL MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE HIERRO PARA REFORMAR LA MEZCLA GASEOSA O INCREMENTAR ASI SU RELACION DE HIDROGENO O MONOXIDO DE CARBONO, RETIRAR EL GAS REFORMADO Y ELIMINAR UNA PARTE DE SU CONTENIDO DE BIOXIDO DE CARBONO USANDO EL GAS REFORMADO PARA REDUCIR EL MINERAL DE HIERRO EN LA ZONA DE REDUCCION.
