CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE CONDENSACION Y CICLACION DE UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE R1-R8 TIENEN EL MISMO SIGNIFICADO QUE EN LA FORMULA (I), CON ACETONA Y AMONIACO. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO POLAR TAL COMO METANOL Y A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE. EL AMONIACO SE PUEDE GENERAR "IN SITU", Y EL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO SE PUEDE SOMETER A N-OXIDACION MEDIANTE IRRADICACION CON LUZ ULTRAVIOLETA EN PRESENCIA DE OXIGENO.
