COMPRENDE UN CUERPO (1) EN EL QUE ESTAN PRACTICADOS AL MENOS DOS ALOJAMIENTOS CILINDRICOS PARA EL PISTON (2) Y PARA EL EJE DEL CIGÑUEÑAL (3), PRESENTANDO ESTE UN MUÑON DEL CIGÑUEÑAL (4), QUE CONSTITUYE UNA DE LAS DOS PARTES TERMINALES DE DICHO EJE DE CIGÑUEÑAL. UNA BIELA (5) TRANSFORMA EL MOVIMIENTO CIRCULAR IMPRIMIDO POR EL MUÑON EN UN MOVIMIENTO RECTILINEO ALTERNATIVO DEL PISTON, PRESENTANDO DICHA BIELA DOS OJETES, EL PRIMERO (7) QUE CONECTA LA BIEL CON EL PISTON POR MEDIO DE UNA ESPIGA (8), Y EL SEGUNDO (6) QUE INSERTA LA BIELA EN EL MUÑON DE CIGÑUEÑAL SIN INTERPOSICION DE OTRAS PIEZAS COMPONENTES. EXISTEN UNOS MEDIOS CONSTRUCTIVOS QUE PERMITEN EL MONTAJE DE LA BIELA TRAS HABERSE INSERTADO EL EJE DEL CIGÑUEÑAL EN EL SEGUNDO ALOJAMIENTO CILINDRICO, SIN MODIFICAR LA POSICION EN SENTIDO AXIAL DEL EJE DESPUES DE LA INSERCION Y PERMITIR POSTERIORMENTE EL MONTAJE DE LA BIELA EN EL MUÑON DE CIGÑUEÑAL Y EL ACOPLAMIENTO ENTRE EL PISTON Y LA BIELA POR MEDIO DE LA ESPIGA.
