CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UNA DIAMINOHIDROQUINONA DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE X ES HALOGENO O ALCOXI, CON UN EXCESO DE UN PIROCARBONATO DISUSTITUIDO CON GRUPOS ALQUILO, ARILALQUILO O FENILO; SEGUIDA DE OXIDACION CON ACIDO NITRICO; Y TRATAMIENTO CON UNA AZIRIDINA NO SUSTITUIDA EN EL NITROGENO. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO INTERMEDIOS PARA LA OBTENCION DE OTROS QUE TIENEN ACTIVIDAD BACTERICIDA O FUNGICIDA.
