PROCEDIMIENTO PARA MODIFICAR QUIMICAMENTE ALMIDON. SE HABILITA UNA SUSPENSION ACUOSA DE ALMIDON, TAL COMO ALMIDON DE MAIZ. SE GELATINIZA EL ALMIDON DE DICHA SUSPENSION. SE FORMA UNA MEZCLA DE DICHO ALMIDON CON UN REACTIVO QUE REACCIONE QUIMICAMENTE CON EL ALMIDON, QUE PUEDE SER UN REACTIVO DE ETERIFICACION, ESTERIFICACION, HIDROLISIS, RETICULACION, OXIDACION O DEXTRINIZACION. SE SOMETE LA MEZCLA DE ALMIDON/REACTIVO RESULTANTE A RADIACION UHF QUE TIENE UNA FRECUENCIA DE APROXIMADAMENTE 2450 MHZ, PARA EFECTUAR LA MODIFICACION QUIMICA DEL ALMIDON.
