Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EXTRAER COBRE Y ARSENICO DE ESCORIAS DE COBRE CONTENIENDO ARSENIURO. SE REALIZA LA LIXIVIACION, EN CONDICIONES DE OXIDACION, DE LA ESCORIA FINAMENTE DIVIDIDA CON UNA SOLUCION AMONIACAL ACUOSA QUE CONTIENE ARSENIATO EN RELACION MOLAR RESPECTO AL RESTO DE ANIONES PRESENTES DE 2:1, IONES DE SULFATO Y/O IONES DE CARBONATO Y UNOS 40 G/L DE AMONIACO COMO HIDROXIDO AMONICO ADEMAS DEL COMBINADO CON LOS OTROS ANIONES APARTE DEL ARSENIATO. EL LIXIVIADO SE REALIZA A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 40-60<025>C. EN PRESENCIA DE UN GAS OXIDANTE, TAL COMO AIRE U OXIGENO. SE ELIMINA EL COBRE DEL LIXIVIADO, MEDIANTE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO, PARA OBTENER UN REFINADO. SE RECICLA EL REFINADO A LA ETAPA DE EXTRACCION, DONDE SE ELIMINA UN SANGRADO DE REFINADO QUE SE SOMETE A CALENTAMIENTO EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE, TAL COMO HIDROXIDO SODICO, PARA ELIMINAR EL AMONIACO Y PRECIPITAR UN COMPUESTO DE ARSENICO INSOLUBLE. SE EMPLEA PARA ESCORIAS PROCEDENTES DE LA FUSION EN ALTO HORNO DE PLOMO O CINC CONTENIENDO MATERIALES OXIDICOS.
