PALAS DE ROTOR. SE CARACTERIZA POR FORMAR EN EL EXTREMO DE EMPALME UN ANILLO CONSTITUIDO POR MADEJAS DE FIBRAS UNIDIRECCIONALES Y CARGABLE POR TRACCION. DICHO ANILLO SE CONFORMA CON MADEJAS DE FIBRA QUE FORMAN ZONAS DE PALA SOPORTADORAS DE FORMA QUE EXISTA FLEXIBILIDAD DE LA ALETA DE LA PALA AL EXTREMO DEL EMPALME DE LA RAIZ DE CASCARA. EL CONTORNO DE TRANSICION ESTA CONFORMADO COMO SUPERFICIE PLANA DESARROLLABLE. EL SEGMENTO DE BORDE POSTERIOR DE SUPERFICIE ABOVEDADA, TIENE UNA ANCHURA QUE AUMENTA DESDE LA ALETA DE PALA O DESDE SU RESPECTIVO SEGMENTO DE BORDE POSTERIOR (1.1) HACIA EL EXTREMO DE EMPALME (2.4). ENTRE EL SEGMENTO DE BORDE POSTERIOR DE SUPERFICIE ABOVEDADA (2.3) Y LOS RESTANTES SEGMENTOS DE CASCARA DE PALA (2.2, 1.1) EXISTEN TRANSICIONES ESQUINADAS.
