EL OTRO EXTREMO DE LOS DEVANADOS SE CONECTA A UN TRANSFORMADOR DE EXCITACION (18), CUYOS CONDUCTORES DE SALIDA SE UNEN A UN PUENTE RECTIFICADOR (20) A TRAVES DE UN BORNE (24) DISPUESTO EN LA ESTRUCTURA ENVOLVENTE (15, 16 Y 17) DEL GENERADOR. EL CIRCUITO RECTIFICADOR SUMINISTRA AL DEVANADO DE CAMPO (13), LA CORRIENTE CONTINUA DE EXCITACION POR MEDIO DE UNOS ANILLOS ROZANTES (21) DISPUESTOS EN EL EJE DE LA MAQUINA.
