Abstract

The rack has a part that holds uniform slide-in units (3) and a part that may contain a variety of slide-in units (22). The rear-wall circuit board (2) only has a given configuration of conducting paths and permanent contacts for the first part. The remainder of the circuit board has a raster (10) of extra contacts (23) comprising connection pins (13), connection points (11) for the connection cables, and a connection pin area (12). The advantage lies in being able to accommodate a variety of different slide-in units (i.e. circuit boards).
