SE MEZCLA UN ACIDO ORGANICO, TAL COMO ACIDO CITRICO O ACIDO TARTARICO, OPCIONALMENTE DESPUES DE UN TRATAMIENTO PREVIO A TEMPERATURA ELEVADA, CON CARBONATOS ACIDOS Y/O CARBONATOS DE SODIO O ALCALINOTERREOS. LA MEZCLA SE SOMETE A UN TRATAMIENTO EN VACIO, A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 40 A 80 C, DURANTE EL QUE SE MEZCLA CON UN DISOLVENTE POLAR, TAL COMO AGUA, METANOL, ETANOL O MEZCLA DE ELLOS, Y EN EL QUE SE MANTIENE UNA PRESION SUPERIOR A LA PRESION PARCIAL DEL DISOLVENTE E INFERIOR A LA PRESION NORMAL. SE CALCULA EL CO LIBERADO MIDIENDO LA DIFERENCIA DE PRESION, CUANDO LA PRESION LLEGA COMO MAXIMO A 1.000 MBAR, PRODUCIDA POR LA FORMACION DEL MISMO Y, DESPUES DEL SECADO RAPIDO DE LA MEZCLA, SE REPITE EL TRATAMIENTO TERMICO HASTA LOGRAR UNA MENOR FORMACION DE GAS. SE TRITURAN LOS AGLOMERADOS OBTENIDOS.
