PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE COMPUESTOS DE FENIL-1,3-PERHIDROTIACINA-4-ONA, 2-SUBSTITUIDA, DE FORMULA DESARROLLADA (I), EN LA QUE R REPRESENTA UN GRUPO ALQUILO INFERIOR DE UNO A TRES ATOMOS DE CARBONO, Y N REPRESENTA UN ENTERO COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 1 Y 3. CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN ALDEHIDO REPRESENTADO POR LA FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE R Y N TIENEN LOS SIGNIFICADOS YA INDICADOS, CON ACIDO 3-MERCAPTOPROPIONICO O CON UN ESTER DEL MISMO, EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE INERTE QUE CONTIENE UN COMPUESTO AMONICO, TAL COMO EL CARBONATO AMONICO. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO A EFECTO A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 50 Y 150 GRADOS. DE APLICACION EN LA PREPARACION DE MEDICAMENTOS CONTRA LA ULCERA PEPTICA.
