Abstract

A limit off-switch for the electrical drive of a machine part which is operated by a DC motor operating in both rotation directions, in which power is supplied to the motor via a rotation-direction changeover switch which also allows the rotation direction to be selected, and in which at least two current paths are available for supplying power to the motor, that current path through which current flows for a given rotation direction being opened at the end of the movement in this rotation direction. In order to interrupt the current at the end of the movement, there is an interrupter which has two stationary brushes and a commutator element such that, at the end of the movement, a current path is switched on which causes current to flow through the motor in a direction opposite to the previous direction.
