PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN ACIDO GRASO MARCADO CON YODO RADIACTIVO. CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN ACIDO GRASO BROMADO O YODADO EN POSICION OMEGA, DISUELTO EN UNA CETONA MISCIBLE CON AGUA, CON YODURO RADIACTIVO EN ESTADO SECO O CON UNA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DE YODURO RADIACTIVO, EN PRESENCIA DE UN YODURO ARRASTRADOR, TAL COMO YODURO SODICO. DESPUES DE LA REACCION DE INTERCAMBIO SE EVAPORA LA CETONA Y SE AÑADE UNA DISOLUCION TAMPON, QUE FORMA UNA SUSPENSION COLOIDAL QUE SE DISUELVE EN UN LIQUIDO FISIOLOGICAMENTE COMPATIBLE. ESTOS ACIDOS GRASOS MARCADOS TIENEN APLICACIONES PARA ESTUDIAR LOS TRASTORNOS DEL METABOLISMO CARDIACO POR ENCINTIGRAFIA.
