Abstract

In a device for delivering a fibre- flock fleece, to, for example a carding machine having a feed shaft 2, an air circulation path is provided for the purpose of maintaining a current of air in the feed shaft in the direction of the outlet end. In order to reduce the effect of fluctuations, especially in the amount of flocks in the feed shaft, on the condensing of the flocks, air- branching means (10), are provided at at least one place in the air-circulation path, permitting air to flow through the air-branching means in order to alter the amount of air in the air- circulation path.
