DE LOS ELEMENTOS QUE LO FORMAN, EL ELEMENTO CENTRAL CONSISTE EN DOS SEMILENTES PLANAS-CONVEXAS CON PUNTOS FOCALES DIFERENTES, MIENTRAS QUE LOS ELEMENTOS QUE SE ENCUENTRAN POR DEBAJO DEL EJE DE UNION PREVIAMENTE ELEGIDO, TIENEN UNA POTENCIA DIOPTRICA MAYOR QUE LA DE LOS ELEMENTOS QUE QUEDAN POR ENCIMA DE DICHO EJE DE UNION.
