PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE GOMA DE XANTANO POR FERMENTACION AEROBIA DE UN MEDIO NUTRIENTE. CONSISTE EN LA FERMENTACION AEROBIA CONTINUA DE UN MEDIO NUTRIENTE, EN EL QUE SE EFECTUA LA INOCULACION DEL MEDIO A UNA DILUCION DE 0,01-0,5%, EMPLEANDO UN INOCULO QUE CONTIENE UN ORGANISMO DEL GENERO XANTHOMONAS, Y EN CUYO MEDIO NO HAY MAS QUE 10 PPM DE FE, NI MAS QUE 3 PPM DE ZN Y LA RELACCION FE:MN ES DE 40:1 A 2:1. LA GOMA DE XANTANO TIENE APLICACIONES COMO ESPESANTE EN ACEITE DE TALADRO Y EN PRODUCTOS ALIMENTICIOS.
