DESPUES DE EFECTUAR LA PRIMERA OPERACION, PERO ANTES DE LA TERCERA, SE PONE EL GAS EN CONTACTO CON UN AGENTE SULFATANTE PARA REBAJAR ADICIONALMENTE EL CONTENIDO DE MERCURIO EN EL GAS, DICHA OPERACION SE REALIZA DESPUES DE LA SEGUNDA OPERACION, EMPLEANDOSE COMO AGENTE SULFATANTE OLEUM.
