CONSISTE EN SOMETER A IMIDACION CON UNA AMINA PRIMARIA H<2N-A-(OH)<N A UN HEMIESTER DEL ADUCTO DEL ANHIDRIDO MALEICO CON UN POLIMERO O COPOLIMERO DE UN DIENO 1,3 CONJUGADO; DICHO POLIMERO O COPOLIMERO TIENE UN PESO MOLECULAR DE 800 A 200.000; LA AMINA PRIMARIA EMPLEADA SE ELIGE DE ENTRE UNA MONOALCANOLAMINA TAL COMO MONOETANOLAMINA, LAS MONOPROPANOLAMINAS Y LAS MONOBUTANOLAMINAS. LA HEMIESTERIFICACION SE EFECTUA CON UN ALCOHOL ALIFATICO TAL COMO METANOL, ETANOL PROPANOLES O BUTANOLES.
