Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO MEJORADO PARA DEPURAR SELECTIVAMENTE MATERIALES ARSENICALES A PARTIR DE UN MINERAL URANIFERO Y/O MOLIBDENIFERO QUE LOS CONTIENE. CONSISTE EN ATACAR EL MINERAL MEDIANTE UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE CARBONATO Y/O BICARBONATO SODICO O POTASICO, EFECTUANDOSE DICHO ATAQUE EN CONDICIONES DE CONCENTRACION, TEMPERATURA Y PRESION TALES QUE PROVOCAN LA SOLUBILIZACION DEL URANIO Y/O DEL MOLIBDENO Y DEL ARSENICO PRESENTES EN EL MINERAL. DE LA SUSPENSION SE RECOGE LA FASE SOLIDA QUE ES SEPARADA EXTRAYENDO EL ARSENICO SOLUBILIZADO EN FORMA DE ARSENIATO MAGNESICO POR TRATAMIENTO CON UN COMPUESTO DE MAGNESIO. DICHO COMPUESTO DE MAGNESIO SE ESCOGE DE ENTRE LA DOLOMITA, GIOBERTITA, SALES DE MAGNESIO, OXIDOS E HIDROXIDOS DE MAGNESIO.
