SE CALIENTA DICHA MEZCLA EN PRESENCIA DE UN PLASMA TERMICO DE ARCO TRANSFERIDO, PARA REALIZAR UNA ESCORIA LIQUIDA, PARA EL REFINADO DE METAL LIQUIDO EN UN AMBIENTE SUSTANCIALMENTE LIBRE DE CARBONO. EL CALENTAMIENTO SE LLEVA A CABO A UNA PRESION IGUAL O INFERIOR A LA ATMOSFERICA.
