Dispositivo de encendido de tubos luminiscentes, caracterizado por que, paralelamente al tubo fluorescente, se dispone una varilla inductor, conectada en serie con un cebador y acoplada en serie con la alimentación a través de los filamentos, disponiéndose, asimismo en serie, una resistencia de nicrom encerrada en tubo de cristal, con lo que no se sobrepasa la intensidad tolerable y la varilla queda fuera de servicio una vez que salta el arco.
