PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE LA N-ACIDO-2-AMINO-4-(METILTIO) BUTIRICO AMIDA DEL ACIDO (2-FENIL) BUTIRICO.CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN DERIVADO ACTIVO DEL ACIDO BAB-FENIL-BUTIRICO (EL ANHIDRIDO O UN HALOGENURO), CON UNA CANTIDAD EQUIMOLECULAR DE METIONINA, PROTEGIENDO SU GRUPO ACIDO YA SEA EN FORMA DE SAL O DE ESTER, Y EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE ANIMADA TERCIARIA COMO AGENTE CAPTADOR DEL CLORHIDRICO FORMADO, PARA OBTENER UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (I). LA REACCION SE PRODUCE A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 5 A 30JC, Y DURANTE UN TIEMPO DE 1 A 6 HORAS.
