CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE AMIDAS DEL ACIDO 2-MERCAPTOBENZOICO DE FORMULA (II) CON UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA XCN EN LAS QUE X ES HALOGENO PREFERENTEMENTE CLORO O BROMO Y LOS DEMAS SIMBOLOS TIENEN EL MISMO SIGNIFICADO QUE EN LA FORMULA (I). LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN UN DILUYENTE EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE O DE UN CAALIZADOR ACIDO O BASICO A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE C40JC Y 60JC. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES EN AGRICULTURA PARA LA PROTECCION DE LAS PLANTAS POR SUS PROPIEDADES FUNGICIDAS.
