ANTES DE ALCANZAR 60JC SE AÑADE UREA EN UNA RELACION MOLAR FORMALDEHIDO-UREA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 1.4 Y 2.0 Y SE MANTIENE EL PRODUCTO A 85-100JC DURANTE 75-120 MINUTOS PH F 7.0-9.0; A VECES SE AÑADE EN ESTA FASE UNA SAL ALCALINA O ALCALINOTERREA EN RELACION MOLAR COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 0.015 Y 0.350 SOBRE EL FORMALDEHIDO. DESPUES DE ENFRIAR SE ACIDIFICA HASTA PH F 4-7 PARA REALIZAR LA CONDENSACION Y SE DETIENE LA REACCION CON UNA BASE ORGANICA AL ALCANZAR LA VISCOSIDAD DESEADA SE ENFRIA Y SE REALIZA LA SEGUNDA ADICION DE UREA DURANTE EL ENFRIAMIENTO. ALTERNATIVAMENTE SE PUEDE SUSTITUIR HASTA EL 50% DE LA UREA POR MELANINA.
