CONSIETE EN LA REACCION DE HIDROLISIS DE UN COMPLEJO DE TEICOPLANINA, CUALQUIER PREPARACION DEL MISMO ADICIONALMENTE PURIFICADA, FACTOR A2 O A3 DE TEICOPLANINA, CADA UNO DE LOS PRINCIPALES COMPONENTES DEL FACTOR A2 DE TEICOPLANINA, ANTIBIOTICO L 17054, O UNA MEZCLA DE DOS O MAS DE LAS SUSTANCIAN CITADAS. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO POR TRATAMIENTO CON UN ACIKDO FUERTE INORGANICO U ORGANICO, EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO APROTICO POLAR, LIQUIDO A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE, TAL COMO ETERES, CETONAS O SUS MEZCLAS, A TEMPERATURA ENTRE 10JC Y 40JC.
