COMPRENDE: A) AJUSTAR EL PH DE LAS SOLUCIONES URANIFERAS ACIDAS ENTRE 2,5 Y 6,5; B) AÑADIR UNA SAL DE ALUMINIO SOLUBLE EN DISOLUCION A LAS SOLUCIONES URANIFERAS ACIDAS Y C) HIDROLIZAR A LAS SOLUCIONES URANIFERAS ACIDAS DE B), PARA FORMAR HIDROXIDO DE ALUMINIO EN SOLUCION QUE AUMENTE EL PH ENTRE 5,5 Y 8,5 Y PRECIPITE, COAGULE O ABSORBA AL 90% DEL URANIO CONTENIDO EN DISOLUCION Y DEJE UN CONTENIDO DE URANIO EN LA SOLUCION FINAL DE 1,8 MG/L. LAS DISOLUCIONES URANIFERAS ACIDAS SON AGUAS DE ACHICAMIENTO O PROCEDENTES DEL TRATAMIENTO POR LIXIVIACION ACIDA DE MINERALES DE URANIO Y TIENEN DE 1 A 100 MG/L DE URANIO Y LA SAL DE ALUMINIO SE ELIGE ENTRE ALUMINADO DE AMONIO Y ALUMINATOS DE METALES ALCALINOS O ALCALINOTERREOS.
