Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO DE FABRICACION DE CALCIO O DE ALEACIONES DE CALCIO DE ALTA PUREZA. CONSISTENTE EN LA ELECTROLISIS DE UN DERIVADO DE CALCIO (NITRURO, HIDRURO, CARBURO, SILICURO, BORURO DE CALCIO Y CIANAMIDA CALCICA), PRESENTE EN FORMA IONICA EN UNA SOLUCION DE SALES FUNDIDAS A BASE DE HALUROS DE CALCIO (CLORUROS, FLUORUROS O MEZCLAS EUTECTICAS); CONSIGUIENDO EL DEPOSITO DE CALCIO O DE SU ALEACION EN EL CATODO LIQUIDO, CONSTITUIDO POR UN METAL (NIQUEL, ALUMINIO, ESTAÑO, BISMUTO, COBRE O PLOMO), QUE PUEDE ENCONTRARSE INICIALMENTE FUNDIDO O PASAR PROGRESIVAMENTE A ESTADO LIQUIDO, DURANTE LA ELECTROLISIS. LA TEMPERATURA DEL BAÑO ESTA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 650J Y 1.100JC, SEGUN LAS CONDICIONES DE ELECTROLISIS Y EL DERIVADO DE CALCIO TRATADO. LA CONCENTRACION DEL DERIVADO DE CALCIO DEPENDE DE SU NATURALEZA Y SOLUBILIDAD EN LA SOLUCION ELEGIDA. ES NECESARIO APLICAR UNA DIFERENCIA DE POTENCIAL DE 0,5 A 5 Y TEORICOS PARA PREPARAR CALCIO METALICO A DETERMINADAS TEMPERATURAS, EN LOS BAÑOS NOMBRADOS. EN EL CASO DE OBTENER ALEACIONES DE CALCIO, SE PROCEDE A DESCOMPONER ESTAS, POR DESTILACION A VACIO, A PRESIONES REDUCIDAS DE 5.10C2 A 10 HPA Y A TEMPERATURAS COMPRENDIDAS ENTRE 700J Y 1.000º.
