Abstract
METODO PARA LA FORMACION DE UNA FIBRA OPTICA CON RECUBRIMIENTO HERMETICO. COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE PREPARA UNA FIBRA OPTICA PARTIENDO DE UN MATERIAL OPTICO CON UNA ELEVADA TEMPERATURA DE FORMADO; SEGUNDA, SE REALIZA LA DEPOSICION DE UN RECUBRIMIENTO PRIMARIO SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE EXTERIOR DE LA FIBRA DENTRO DE UNA DETERMINADA GAMA DE TEMPERATURAS; Y POR ULTIMO SE APLICA UN RECUBRIMIENTO SECUNDARIO SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE EXTERIOR DE DICHO RECUBRIMIENTO PRIMARIO, SIENDO POR LO MENOS UNO DE DICHOS RECUBRIMIENTOS, EL PRIMARIO O EL SECUNDARIO, HERMETICOS. LA DEPOSICION INCLUYE EL PASO DE LA FIBRA A TRAVES DE UN MEDIO GASEOSO QUE CONTIENE AL MENOS UN REACTIVO, CON EL QUE SE PUEDE HACER UNA CONVERSION QUIMICA EN UN MATERIAL DEL RECUBRIMIENTO PRIMARIO.
