Un taco de materia fibrosa con una montura en forma de vaina, interrumpida por ranuras longitudinales, la cual rodea al cordón de fibra susceptible de compresión, caracterizado por que el extremo está estrechado por el lado de entrada de la montura y las ranuras están prolongadas hasta llegar adentro de la parte estrechada de la montura del taco y por que las ranuras están ensanchadas en la zona del extremo del taco estrechado, de forma que las partes de la montura están unidas entre sí por el extremo del taco, únicamente por medio de nervios estrechos.
