Abstract

Una lente de contacto perfeccionada, constituida por un casquete cuyas dimensiones son tales que permiten cubrir la parte adecuada de la córnea del ojo humano, en el que la superficie interior presenta una curvatura cóncava que se adapta a la convexa de la córnea del ojo humano, adaptación que se realiza de conformidad con las tolerancias admitidas por dicha córnea, presentando su superficie exterior, convexa, la curvatura adecuada a la corrección óptica pretendida, caracterizada por presentar, al menos, una tercera curvatura que se extiende desde el contorno exterior por la cara interna, constituyendo una corona anular que queda levemente separada del globo ocular, al superponerse la lente en el mismo, a fin de facilitar el acceso de la lágrima al espacio comprendido entre la córnea y la superficie interior, cóncava, del casquete que constituye la lente.
