Un carril para cortinas, caracterizado esencialmente, por estar constituido por un travesaño alargado, en forma de "U" invertida con sus ramas laterales arqueadas y de cuya rama superior central sobresale una expansión en forma de cola de milano en la que encajan con posibilidad de deslizamiento, los entrantes, asimismo en cola de milano, que poseen unas patillas superiores destinadas a la sujeción y soporte del propio carril; quedando albergados en el interior de dicho travesaño, unos elementos de enganche de cortinas que hacen tope por los extremos en unas piezas semicilíndricas atravesadas verticalmente por sendos cáncamos que, se clavan en la rama superior del propio carril, y sirven de primer elemento fijo de las cortinas a soportar.
