Abstract
Tämän keksinnön kohteena on verkonhallintajärjestelmä tietoliikenneverkon toimintojen valvomiseksi ja hallitsemiseksi. Järjestelmä käsittää olioita (23), joille on liitettävissä erilaisia palvelukomponentteja. Järjestelmä käsittää edelleen palvelukohtaisia palvelimia (24) kyseisten palvelujen toteuttamiseksi, ja tietokannan (DB), johon on tallennettu palvelukohtaisia tietoja, asiakassovelluksen, jonka kautta käyttäjä voi hallita järjestelmän toimintoja, välineitä tiettyyn olioon (23) liittyvien palveluiden tietojen hakemiseksi tietokannasta (DB), välineitä mainittujen palvelujen esittämiseksi käyttäjälle, ja välineitä käyttäjän mainituista palveluista valitseman palvelun toteuttavan palvelimen (24) tunnisteen välittämiseksi asiakassovellukselle siten, että käyttäjä voi muodostaa yhteyden mainittuun palvelimeen (24) ja ottaa valitun palvelun käyttöön mainitulle oliolle.
