Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for mixing and/or suspending powders, granulates and similar materials in liquids for the manufacture of various liquid mixtures. The invention is based on the principle that the additive material in powder form is mixed by means of a separate high-speed mixer 4 into a quantity of liquid, which is less than the quantity of end product, and the remainder of the liquid is added to the mixture after mixing in the additive materials, in order to produce an ultimate mixing ratio and to determine the volume of the end product. At the beginning of the mixing process a proportion of the liquid is dosed into a vessel 1, from whence it is continuously circulated through the mixer 4 and the requisite additive materials are mixed into the liquid.
