Abstract

Seeds are coated with a mixture of peat and a clay, esp. betonite, containing a fungicide and a partially hydrolysed PVAc, then mixed with a powder contng. an insecticide and a fungicide. The resultant product has superior germination properties, compared to untreated seeds, esp. under adverse weather conditions.
