Abstract

Insecticide carrier of wood, plastics is placed inside a plastics sheath which is then sealed at both ends. These ends protrude through slots in the sides of a perforated metal or plastics container composed of two shells which are subsequently screwed or clipped together. One end of the sheath is cut free and the sheath then withdrawn to expose the insecticide carrier inside the container. This can be hung on the wall for safer mounting. The insecticide proposed is O, O dimethyl-2,2-dichlorovinylphosphate.
