Abstract

Apparatus for torsional-texturising for use in the mfe. of yarns, comprising a rotating tube, two drive rolls with parallel axes and drive discs at their ends between which is placed a magnet acting on a ferromagnetic part of the rotary tube, with the improvement whereby the ferromagnetic part of the rotary tube is essentially spherical, and has at least one pole of the magnet directed towards its centre. The spherical ferromagnetic part is pref. flattened axially.
