Abstract

Premoulded profiled insert is used for the protection of sensitive parts which are surrounded by injection moulding thermoplastic or thermosetting material, the insert being placed on the sensitive parts being started by the injection moulding process. Used especially for protecting the connecting places between thin wires and thicker metallic pieces, which are to be covered with plastic material by injection moulding. The inserts protect the connecting places from the impact of the injected mass.
