Elastic organosilicon compositions Based on alpha, omega-dihydroxypolydiorgano-siloxanes and hardening agents. The latter are cpds. of formula R'H2nCnSi(OR")3 (I) (where R' is H, NH2 or N(R"')2; R" is (cyclo)alkyl or acetyl, R"' is (cyclo)alkyl, n is 1 to 5) and chelates of formula (where Riv is 1-5C alkyl, M is Ti or Al, n is 3 to 4, m is 1 to 3) and/or cpds. of formula:- (where Rv is CH3(CH2)x, x is zero to 4, Rvi is alk(ox)yl) The compsn. contains 0.1 pbw of (I), 0.1 to 30 pbw of (II) and/or (III) per 100 pbw of polyorganosiloxane The compn. is heat- and humidity-resistant and adheres to a variety of metals. Uses include adhesives and packing compounds.
