Abstract

Recovery of electrophoretic bath ingredients from rinsing water. Method of removing the entrained part of an electrophoretic coating by rinsing in which the rinsing water is recirculated to the electrodeposition bath via an ultrafiltration device which removes the bulk of the impurity and enables the water and the entrained part of the coating material to be regenerates. The bath specif. comprises a base-solubilised polycarboxylic acid resin in aqs. medium.
