Abstract

Substd phenoxy-ureas Cpds (I) useful as herbicides R1R2C=C-CH2O- -NHCO-N(R4)CH3 (I) where X is Hal esp Cl or Br, H or Me; R2 and R3 are H or Hal esp, Cl, one of R2 and R3 being halogen; and R4 is Me or MeO, are prepd by alkenylating the p-hydroxyphenyl urea with R1R2C=CR3-CH2-X or by forming the urea residue by standard methods.
