Abstract
Free-running Na tripolyphosphate (NTPP)-alkali silicate mixed granulate is produced by pelletizing mixed NTPP and alkali silicate powders with H2O or aq. soln. of one or both constituents on turntable and drying pellets below 90 degrees C, pref. at ca. 80 degrees C. Prod. is esp. useful as builder for dish rinsing agents. Mixed granulate of any compsn. can be made continuously, without need to use crushing, grinding and sieving stages.
