Abstract

Aq. compsn. for mortars having a viscosity of 104-1.2 x 106 cPs contains a water-dispersible, film-forming polymer which can be crosslinked at normal temp., and a water-insoluble filler material. Used for joining and filling the joints between ceramic tiles. The mortars have a non-Newtonian consistency and thus can be easily worked and applied in thin layers. The mortars show a minimum shrinkage, and become very resistant to water after a certain time.
