Abstract

The child safety harness consists of a table formed from a block of semi soft material and having a recess to fit the child's body and allow the legs to stretch through. A groove (1) in the front face of the table block accommodates the lower strap of an adult safety belt (2) which runs from the right to the left seat anchor points. The belt groove is deeper recessed at each end to prevent the table from tilting. An inflatable seat cushion could also be provided with loops to work in conjunction with the safety belt.
