Abstract

The arrangement comprises a housing (2) divided into an upper and a lower chamber by a diaphragm (14), the lower chamber being connected with the clean air section of the air filter and the upper chamber having an observation window (12) in the wall and an indicator element (13) with indicator mark (24) and means (27) to hold the element in position in the housing. The latter means are arranged between the bottom (26) of the element and the diaphragm such that, when they are in engagement, the element is held in a position in which the mark cannot be seen. The element is rotatable under spring action (28) relative to the housing, so that when the diaphragm moves down due to excessive vacuum, the holding means (27) dis-engage, and the element rotates into position showing the mark in the window.
