Abstract

The concentrator has a triangular form delimited by flexible walls (19, 19a, 33, 33a) and a horizontal top sheet (32) weighted down by ballast chains (28, 36) from floats (20, 34, 34a). The concentrator floats on the surface of the water and the orifice (2) formed by the side walls, which are held together at the top by a cable (30), channels any pollutants towards a funnel shaped receptacle (37) which is connected to an exit pipe (38). The exit pipe can be fitted with a supple pipe so that the recovered pollutants can be pumped from the receptacle.
