Abstract

L'invention concerne une bague d'étanchéité, en particulier pour arbre de machine, susceptible de s'adapter aux variations dimensionnelles de son logement. Le boîtier de joint 2 renfermant l'organe d'étanchéité proprement dit 4, 5, 6, en contact avec l'arbre, possède une surface d'appui 11 en contact avec le logement rendue élastiquement déformable par la présence de plusieurs moulures périphériques 8, 9, 10, de hauteurs radiales différentes assurant la permanence du guidage et de l'étanchéité par adaptation aux variations dimensionnelles, telles que la dilatation thermique, du logement de la bague d'étanchéité.
