Abstract

Procédé de placage par explosion. On place un matériau de placage squs forme d'une ou plusieurs couches de poudre sur un matériau de support, notamment un matériau ductile, de telle manière que la surface libre de la poudre soit en regard et distante de la surface du matériau de base qui doit être revêtu du matériau de placage, que le matériau de support est muni d'une charge detonante susceptible d'accélérer le matériau de placage à une vitesse élevée telle qu'il vienne frapper la surface du matériau de base à une vitesse, en direction de la surface du matériau de base, ne dépassant pas la vitesse du son pour le matériau considéré. Application au placage d'un matériau en poudre sur une surface plane ou non.
